Native to China, Cornus kousa is a small tree (about 20′ tall and wide at maturity) that's lovely all year long. We offer a popular variety known for abundant flowers and fruit. In late spring, 'Milky Way' produces a galaxy of white bracts, followed by a heavy crop of pinkish red fruits that persist well into autumn. The deep green leaves turn orange-red before they fall, revealing the handsomely mottled, tan and gray bark.
