This rounded, compact plant is vigorous and covered with lustrous, green foliage. Buds expand and open in late May with distinctive deep pink flowers with a striking maroon band.

Thrives in partial to full shade. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer.Prune immediately after flowering in late spring by cutting branches to just above a set of leaves.
