Sage 'Pineapple' is a tropical-looking herb with sweetly fragrant foliage that smells—and tastes—like fresh pineapple. Its bright green, soft leaves are perfect for teas, fruit salads, and desserts, adding a subtle tropical flavor to your kitchen creations. In late summer to fall, it produces striking red tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators in abundance.
While this tender perennial thrives during the warm growing season, it is not winter hardy in Northern Connecticut and should be grown as an annual or overwintered indoors. It performs beautifully in containers, borders, and herb gardens where its foliage and flowers add color, fragrance, and flavor.
